Purevision 2 HD for Astigmatism

Stable clear vision when using a toric contact lens to correct astigmatism has always been a challange for contact lens designers and manufacturers.  Over the years there have been a number of designs and methods tried and tested.  Bausch & Lomb have been part of this journey with their Purevision 2 for Astigmatism range.  

The original Purevision for Astigmatism lenses use the traditional prism ballasting design where the lens is thicker at the bottom and relies on gravity to position the lens into the correct cylinder and sphere alignment providing clear vision.  Many patients find this design uncomfortable to wear due to the lens thickness and lid / lens sensitivity.

Purevision 2 for Astigmatism however is one of the new generation of toric lenses with its Auto-Align design using hybrid prism and peri ballasting methods that have resulted in a reduced lens thickness,and a larger optic zone. Many patients report that they exprience very little lens rotation and enjoy constant clear vision.

Purevision 2 For Astigmatism come soaked in a moisture rich solution so the lenses are super comfortable on initial insertion and quickly orientate themselves on the eye providing clear vision.
