To claim a rebate for your prescription contact lenses purchased online you will need to be a health fund member with Optical Extra's cover.

Prior to purchasing your contact lenses online you may like to check your rebate amount, you can do this by calling your Private Health Insurance and give them the item numbers of the contact lenses you wish to purchase along with the price. You will find this information on the individual contact lens product pages.

Once your contact lenses have been dispatched to you, a claimable receipt will be emailed to you, this needs to be submitted to your Private Health Insurance, the receipt features all the information required to process your claim.
